HIPLIFNAT

HIPPO SCULPTURE

Height 5ft (Life Size)

£2,495.00

The hippo, also known as the Kiboko in Swahili, is one of the larger African animals in the range and needs some planning when debating a location. Representing the size of a real life hippopotamus, its wrinkly neck, pricked up ears and hairy snout are all expertly portrayed through various metals and welding techniques. The hippo inhabits wild rivers in Africa, and so looks especially eccentric when placed next to bodies of water, whether that be on the edge of an indoor swimming pool at home or about to lazily slide into a lake at the bottom of the garden.

NB: Life size hippo is now available to back order. Expected delivery date December 2017.

Description

These African giants look fantastic when placed near a water feature, pond or pool where they can be imagined taking a dip. Life size pieces can be located on both hard or soft ground. We recommend the use of fixing rings welded to the feet of the sculpture and ground spikes to increase the stability of the product when placed on various surfaces outdoors. This sculpture can be placed outside but will need relacquering over time to maintain a high-quality finish. Other finishes are available upon request.
