Tall, alert and full of expression, this upright seated chimpanzee has a strong presence without feeling too formal. The straight-backed pose and forward-facing look give it a watchful character, making it feel like a natural guardian for a garden, terrace or entrance space. Its proportions make it easy to position, while the detailed metalwork ensures it still stands out as a proper statement piece.
Hand-forged from recycled steel and finished in natural metal, the sculpture has a striking contrast between the smooth face and the textured body. The layered metal strips create movement and depth from every angle, especially across the shoulders, arms and legs. Sealed with a clear, weather-ready lacquer for year-round outdoor placement. Each piece is individually crafted by artisans, meaning every chimp has its own unique details and finish.

Yes! They can last a lifetime! However, to maintain the pristine condition of your outdoor sculptures, we recommend re-lacquering them every 12 months. This will protect your sculpture from the weathering effects of the elements and prevent oxidization, which is a natural occurrence that requires regular treatment. As the owner, it is your responsibility to maintain your sculpture, and we offer a convenient solution to do so. You can purchase lacquer on our website. With this simple and effective solution, you can easily perform the necessary maintenance at home and keep your sculpture looking as good as new for years to come.
Each sculpture is individually handcrafted, so subtle variations in line and patina make yours unique. If you’d like to choose a specific piece, we can share images of current stock, or you’re welcome to view the collection at our facility in Ormskirk, just outside Liverpool.
